Pero ese a\u00f1o, el grupo decidi\u00f3 que necesitaba algo m\u00e1s que una conferencia: Propusieron la creaci\u00f3n de una asociaci\u00f3n formal de cl\u00ednicas que pudiera continuar el trabajo durante todo el a\u00f1o y a un nivel superior. Su visi\u00f3n colectiva pronto dio lugar a la Asociaci\u00f3n de Cl\u00ednicas Gratuitas y Ben\u00e9ficas de Carolina del Norte.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the NCAFCC has grown into a comprehensive network of 58 free and charitable clinics dedicated to improving the health and well-being of uninsured patients in North Carolina. In 2023, we provided over 200,000 medical, behavioral health, and dental appointments for nearly 80,000 individual patients, with services valued at more than $364,000,000. These numbers are a testament to the vital work of making health affordable.
