Lisa Bottomley comes with 12 years of experience in the non-profit sector with a background that includes health care management, fundraising, community engagement, volunteer mobilization, diversity and inclusion, and health systems relations. The majority of Lisa’s career has been spent working in the rural communities of North Carolina. She has partnered with health systems in regards to disease prevention, patient programs and services, access to care, identifying measures of improvement and the relevancy of services offered in those communities.
Lisa was hired in November, 2017 as the Executive Director for the Community Care Clinic in Boone, NC. Lisa has focused on building strong community collaborations, and has been innovative in the areas of fundraising and donor development. She strives daily to build sustainable community relationships that will help the clinic grow and contribute to the overall health and well-being of the community.
Lisa has her BS degree in Healthcare Administration. In 2019, Lisa will begin the Masters of Health Administration program at Appalachian State University which focuses on the state of health in rural communities.
Lisa resides in Allegany County, NC with her husband, two children and her 2 dogs.
